Here’s a practical “where to start” plan if you’re new or want a repeatable process:

Start with the Category Pack (2,000 per category)

Pick one category you want to focus on.

Filter to easier phrases first

Set Difficulty to Very Easy or Easy.

Optional: set Min Daily Traffic to something like 400–800 as a first pass (you can adjust as needed).

Create a shortlist (20–50 phrases)

Copy the best-looking phrases to a quick list.

Export to TXT if you want a clean “one keyword per line” list.

Export to CSV if you want to sort, tag, or add your own columns.

Validate in KDP/Amazon

Paste keywords into Amazon search to see autocomplete suggestions.

Look at the top results: are they tightly aligned with your phrase or all over the place?

Check whether the phrase matches what readers actually seem to be buying/reading in that niche.

Refine and repeat

If a phrase is too broad, add a modifier (setting, trope, audience, format).

If it’s too narrow, remove one modifier and test again.

What the “daily traffic” and “difficulty” fields mean

The extension includes a dailyTraffic number and a difficulty label for each phrase. These are estimates meant for sorting and filtering, not guaranteed marketplace data. The real power is using them to quickly:
